SOLD - THANKS! '01 Red Suzuki GZ250 in Raleigh, NC for $800
Thanks for looking . . . but this bike was sold less than 30 minutes after I posted it!!!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++ I am selling an '01 Red Suzuki GZ 250 Cruiser Motorcycle with only 2,300 miles! I bought this motorcycle when it was new to learn how to ride. Now, after moving it from place to place on the back of a truck, I realize that it’s finally time to sell it! I am asking only $800!!! This is an excellent price, you will not be able to find anything close to this, for this price! Call me to arrange a time to pick it up! (919) 926-9876. Please try to call between 8am and 10pm EST. Leave a message if I miss your call - I'll get right back to you. I do not own a truck - so I can not deliver this bike to you. You need to be able to come and pick it up from me, in downtown Raleigh, NC. I am the original owner. This bike has only 2,300 miles! It has never been laid down, not even once. The paint looks great! I have obviously stored it more than ridden it. All it needs is a bath and a new battery with a minor tune-up. It has been sitting for awhile. Once this bike is cleaned up, it will look like and ride like new! You can also have the all-weather cover that I have been using to protect the bike. If you'd like to see more pictures, please check out the page that I have just put together (with over 40 photos of the bike): http://www.72256.com/forsale/welcome.html SPECS: GZ 250 Marauder 2001 Overall Length: 2160 mm (85.0 in) Overall Width: 815 mm (32.1 in) Overall Height: 1090 mm (42.9 in) Seat height: 680 mm (27.8 in) Wheelbase: 1450 mm (57.1 in) Dry Weight: 137 kg (302 lbs) Engine type: Air-cooled 249 cc single cylinder, SOHC, four valves. 20,1 hp (15 kW)/ 8,000 rpm, 18,7 Nm/ 7,000 rpm Now for some of the fancy marketing mumbo jumbo . . . Get ready to tap into all the thrills that motorcycling has to offer — with the versatile Suzuki GZ250. It's designed to offer exactly the kind of performance beginning riders are looking for. With a seat height of less than 28 inches and a dry weight of just 302 pounds, the GZ250 is a joy to maneuver around town, even in tight traffic. And that lightweight responsiveness is complemented by brisk engine performance and a wide powerband. The GZ250 is also styled so you'll fit right in with your riding buddies. It has classic Suzuki styling — long, low and lean — and includes a variety of features from a buttoned-down seat to flashy spoked wheels. That's not all — the GZ250's superb combination of performance, styling and price is the perfect definition of value! Re: '01 Red Suzuki GZ250 in Raleigh, NC for $800 w/ 2,300 mi.
A seven + year old motorcycle will also need new tires and tubes, as you should never ride on tires any older than 4 years!
It should have all the brake fluid lines purged and refilled as well. Why are you selling so cheap?

I am selling so cheap because: "A seven + year old motorcycle will also need new tires and tubes, as you should never ride on tires any older than 4 years!"
and . . . my wife and I are moving from Raleigh to Baltimore in a week and a half. I will not have a place to store/park the bike at the building we are moving to. When I first bought the bike I used it as a local commuter and loved it for a year or so . . . I haven't really had much time to devote to riding it lately. $800 is cheap . . . though I think that it's fair (for both parties). Whoever buys this bike will want to put a few hundred into maintenance to make sure that everything is top notch before taking it out on the road. If I had a few weeks (and it was the beginning of the summer) I might have listed it for as high as $1,400 . . . who knows?! Login or Register to Remove Ads |
