First milestone?

I'm not as prolific of a rider as many of you guys, but I racked up my 1,000th mile on my way to work this morning. Most of that is commuting. A few errands and joy rides thrown in. Need more joy rides.

I find that when i do errands on my bike they seem to turn into joy rides, so thus far am not really saving all that much on gas .. but it is just great to get out and buzz around (and i do mean buzz).. Ya might try taking the long way home...

Congradulations on breaking the 1,000 mile mark. I myself just recently cracked the 5,000 mile mark. Most of those have been done in the past 6 months or so.

Hey Moe...

...I'm currently on the east coast, but in my absence, my DLR 389 showed up from MSF, so sometime next week I should be able to hit the DMV and get my license. Perhaps we can conspire on a place to meet up. I may even take a look at Google Maps and see where Stanton is in the meantime.

You can ride for up to a year...

...in California with a permit. I have 500 miles on the bike. Considering I have only been able to ride on weekends since I got it (I travel) I think I'm doing okay. Plus I aced the DMV written test, got a 50/50 on the MSF written and 0 points off on the road test. It's just a matter of waiting in line at the DMV. Right now I am in New Jersey, and the DMV I have to go to is in CA. And it will be closed when I get home. And Monday as well. So it will be a little bit longer yet!

At least you're working on getting your endorsement. Some people still haven't even bothered with it yet.

Wow... Patrick...

...you're an.... A-D-M-I-N....?! I always knew you'd go places. Now I can tell people I knew you back when you were a newb, or an Ultra, or a Respected, or a Sponsor, or whatever you were before.

I suggest you get to work on deleting the naughty picture sites from the member list. It's an affront to my sensibilities. (Most of them charge!)
