GZ carbs suck...

I think I've complained enough about the carb on the wife's bike. Its a complete pain. Yes, yes... the bike sits. even when i drain it, its a pain. Last time i tried to start it, the float stuck open, soaking the floor in the garage and flooding the engine. then it stuck closed. it's obviously not set right. Once I did get it running and riding, I found that when I leaned the bike left, it idled up and leaning right stalled it.

Now that I've deleted the rant I originally typed here......

Is there any logical way to get that float set right... and NOT stick???? I've taken the thing apart enough times, I feel like I could do it in my sleep. Clearly I bent the float. I'm guessing the float level is too high?
