Hey all

New to the forums and GZ's. I picked my one up for my wife to learn on. Its a Spanish assembled 2006 K5 and is currently 100% stock with 37,141 kms. Cosmetically its not pretty chrome going rusty evidence of previous bins etc. Not bothered as it will be going an extreme make over in all departments.

Hi there. Mine's a Spanish bike too. K5 tells me that it was built in 2005. I agree about the rust. It's very humid (85% humidity) where I live, and the chrome is really bad. Bought a set of Spanish crash bars, and they rusted so bad that I had to paint them black (to match the bike) If it's a Spanish bike, ignore anything on this site about adjusting the carb. The Spanish bikes ( with the big MARAUDER logo on the tank) are set up ok from the factory. It's only the American bikes rhat are set up lean from the factory, because of the American Nanny Laws.
