Cold cranking amps

The bike is hard to start when below 60° starts fine when its warm outside or after bike is warmed up. The current battery in it has 60 cca and I see online I can get a battery with 115 cca. Will that help the cold start issue?

It should help. I went from a lead acid battery to a lithium ion battery. Not only did it have nearly twice the cranking amps, it weighs a fraction of the original battery.

Also these bikes are very lean from the factory...A PMS (Pilot mixture screw) adjustment will help alot. But first you need to drill out the factory plug to get to it.
