What was wrong with yours?
As the topic suggests, what was wrong with your bike when you first got it? Assuming it was used of coarse
I'll start: Engine had NO OIL No blinkers at all Blinker indicator bulb was dead Neutral indicator bulb was dead Speedometer illumination bulb was dead Chain was stretched out unevenly Brake light would not come on while pressing rear brake Rear brake was dragging Valves need adjustment Missing windshield And it was dropped on each side at least once Login or Register to Remove Ads |

My bike had been dropped on the left side. Deep scuff on the front fender, end cap on the throttle handle, and scratches on the end of the muffler. Previous owner dumped it with only 340 miles on the bike, got scared and sold it. I got a new bike for a lot less than original retail.

Mine had a BIG UGLY 70's style aftermarket windscreen clamped on the triple.
A set of allen keys unleashed the beauty. Windscreens are for pantywaists. I jumped up and down on the windscreen. Happily ever after Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Mine also was dropped on the left side, dent in gas tank, handle bar damaged, bit of rust here and there, and a 10A fuse kept blowing until I found out that wire with insulation molten off, was touching the head under the gas tank.
But got it for almost half the price, 2 year old with 35 miles on the odometer. PO was scared after she fell.
