Spark Plug? Air leak?
Hey guys,
I recently got around to changing the spark plug on by bike. I looked up a few different websites to find one that would fit properly. The consensus was that the Autolite copper 4163 was a good choice. It took me forever to get the old plug off and it looked dark all the way down the thread. Took even longer to get the new one in but didn't really have to force it just a weird angle. Anyway, I reattached the tube and tried to start it up but I got a weird puff of air like noise that came from the area around the plug. I tried to push the hose down further but it seems to be as down as it will go. Since this is the first time I've heard this noise I'm assuming the plug has to be the problem. Suggestions? Remove the plug & check the threads for bits of aluminum. If you find any you stripped the threads. (Lets hope this is not the case)
