New to Suzuki

Hello all
I am Dave, I am in the process of buying a GZ250 from some friends.
I thought the bike would be a second ride for me.
but suddenly my wife has expressed an interest in getting her own license and making the bike her own.
glad to be here and I look forward to chatting with you.

Hi Dave. Always nice to hear of another Canadian on the forum. Sounds like your new ride just changed hands. Your wife will probably get smitten by the bike and refuse to let you ride it. If your wife is serious about riding get her to a riding school soonest. Lynda had never ridden before and the training was the best investment money can buy. I also went to school after decades of riding and learned a lot. Also get some decent riding gear just in case of a mishap.
What is your other ride ?? Anything I might want to borrow ?? Actually I don't want to ride anything but my 650 VStrom, it just fits me so well and has everything I need.

actually
Sabrina is quite smart
she won't ride without taking the course
and we already have all the gear
My ride is a 01 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic
last year we had a 97 Kawi Vulcan 800 Classic with and added a classic sidecar and we both loved it
unfortunately in August the rig had an encounter with a guardrail and had to be put down
the sidecar was saved but has not been added to the new bike yet

there are a few pics here
