Anybody notice??????
Anybody notice I´ve not been on the site for a while? April 20th. Raining. Came back into the house with wet shoes. Slipped. Went down. Most excrutiating pain of my life. Turned out I´d fractured my femur (thigh bone) Had to have an operation to pin it, and spent a week and a half in hospital. I´m home now, but confined to a wheelchair for another week, until I go back to the hospital, so they can decide if I can put any weight on the leg. Being having physio, but all of a sudden, my leg, from ankle to thigh, has swollen with liquid, so I´m having to sit with my leg raised. Totally pissed off.

Ouch. Please get better quick.
I'm with you but only part of the way, a week ago I apparently hurt my right knee, it swelled up and made the tissue around it cramp and swell to, so this is my 6th day in bed. Now, the swelling has gone down a bit, and as of today most of the cramping is gone too. When you have your leg raised make sure it's entirely supported because I noticed that sections without support started to swell and cramp up. Everyone is different though. Hang in there Alan, soon this will just be a memory.

Get well soon Alan. These tiled floors are lethal when wet, had a few close calls myself, things (including us) don't bounce like they do on carpets or wood!
