Re: Mpg

my gz250 I get about 80 to 100 mpg so for me its free gas heres how you do it use
a ngk DR9EA or a JR10B start with the dr 9ea change air filter every 500 to 1k miles
set ex valves at .9 to 1.0mm intake .05mm open the air mix on carb change oil & filter
every 200 mi. depends on how you ride 80k on mine she is 13.5yrs ols new condition

That kind of maintenance may work for you but I think it is just silly.

That's probably every 2,000 miles, otherwise it would be quite expensive.

Re: Mpg

Probably but keeping that in mind, a new air filter every 1000 miles can't be cost effective.

Re: Mpg

The handbook says to clean the air filter every 3000 km (2000 miles) and replace every 12000 km (8000 miles) but it doesn't differentiate between dusty/clean usage. I've got 25000 km (17000 miles) on my GZ and the original air filter's working fine, with just regular cleaning.

Could you please use some punctuation. It makes reading so much easier when you know where a sentence starts and ends.

Yes, it says that they like to ride it, not just pose with it.
