What to do with a gz250 with blown engine?

It's a nice 2000 model bike, but the engine needs a head replacement. I don't have the money to make this repair, so I'd like to sell it. Preferably to someone who wanted the bike whole... but if no one does, I'll start parting it out I guess. Make me an offer if you may want the bike whole. Thanks.

You should get some good looks here. People always need parts here and there.

What specifically is wrong with the bike, if I might ask?

I had a valve impact the cylinder and make a big mess. Needs a head replacement which I priced around $500.

Did that include labor? New complete heads at $475 or so @ Ronayers, so that's too bad of a deal.

Yeah... some prices were a bit more and some less, but they all were right around $500

Are you thinking of parting out the bike?

Maybe... does anyone known how much parting out this bike would bring? I'd prefer to sell it whole for cheap instead of breaking it down.

You would make more money parting it out, and making some folks happy with the available parts they need that you have.

This is true.
Not running, you're only looking at maybe making $600-$800 by selling it whole.
