Selling my Vulcan 900 Trike Kit on e-bay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/221196878920?ss ... 1586.l2649
I've got my Trike kit for sale on e-bay. It fits the Vulcan 900 only, so I may not have a lot of people looking for it but if you know anyone wanting to convert a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 to a trike, it is a deal and all the hard work is finished. I've already done all the welding and alignment work, and built the brackets for the fenders so at this point it is a fairly straightforward job that just involves sockets and wrenches to install. Re: Selling my Vulcan 900 Trike Kit on e-bay
You are in a good/bad situation. You have a good/ideal item to sell and only need(bad part)to find that "ONE" person who wants to buy a trike conversion for a 900. I'm sure there are folks out there that gave up in frustration while looking for a 900 kit. You just need to find them and present your proof with pics etc that it works and works well. Best of luck BB.

Give it a whirl on CL(motorcycles) for a few weeks. You may find some one looking for a kit there from a dealer and not yet finding a positive fit for a 900.

WW, thanks for the advice. I was getting ready to list it on Craigslist this evening, and then someone bought it off of e-bay this afternoon, paid in full and everything.
I picked up a nice pallet after work and I'm going to box it up really securely and ship it out by Thursday. :2tup: Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Way to go. Made you feel better I'm sure.
I hope you signed it, autographed it, "Built by burkbuilds", before you ship it off. All art work has to be signed by it's creator. |

I agree. There is a lot of BB in the trike kit that makes it workable on a 900.

Re: Selling my Vulcan 900 Trike Kit on e-bay
Thanks, but I just shipped it as it was, no autographs.
Amazing how variable the cost of shipping can be. I got quotes from several companies to haul this pallet from Chattanooga, dropped at their freight terminal by me, to Jacksonville, Fla, picked up at their freight terminal by the customer. Prices ranged from almost $800. for a high price, to $178. for the low quote. I shipped it for the $178 and it arrived and was picked up by the customer in less than 24 hours. |
