M-50 will gone.

Just got a call from a fellow who said he will buy Lynda's bike on Monday. He looked at it yesterday and liked it. Heated gear and the Nelson-Rigg 3 piece set of bags sweetened the deal for full asking price. So we will have no more bikes in the stable.

This is really a bonus for Lynda as she wants to go to Ireland on a tour and the $$ will get her there and back with luck. No need to travel via Mastercard and payments. That is the secondary news actually. The first and biggest news is Lynda retired Thursday and had nearly given up on an Ireland vacation. Also her 2012 Carolla wil be paid off after she gets her savings plan $ from her employer and some from the Bank of WW. It is amazing how life can just turn around so many events in a short time leaving nothing but smiles. Life is good. :2tup: :2tup: :2tup: :rawk: :rawk: :rawk:

Tell Lynda good luck and health in her retirement. Maybe you should get a moped for running to the stores. lol

Re: M-50 will gone.

Congratulations to Lynda on her retirement and upcoming trip to Ireland. Ask her to take lots of pics so you can post some when she returns. Life is full of changes, some we cherish, others we dread, sounds like you are experiencing some of the times to cherish now. My best wishes to you both in the future. :2tup:

Re: M-50 will gone.

Thanks guys. Got my fingers crossed that everything goes well on Monday.
Lynda will likely go to Ireland sometime this summer and take far to many pics to post. So I get to sort through them. LOL.
Her son in Ontario will be coming to visit in April so I know for sure it will be after that.
We should start going for walks and getting out a bit more often with both of us being retired and free to just mess about. We also have a lot of different interests so we won't be joined at the hip full time.

Congrats to Lynda. Being able to retire and payoff the car will be a burden lifted. :2tup:

Yup. That's what I figured. Our combined pensions will/should be enough to live without having to move to a cardboard box and push a cart to collect discarded empties.

Get out of my neighborhood.

  We actually have a small group of folks who live down by the river year round. Most live there by choice rather than seeking any assistance from any agencies. A few years ago Lynda took a trunk full of old usable clothing and blankets etc that had been gathered up but the Lady she talked to said we need nothing. Seems living rent free in a tent and working a few hours a week on odd jobs is enough to keep them fed and clothed for the most part.
They are isolated from the perils and stress of modern life but a 20 minute walk brings them to the heart of town.

:2tup: :2tup: :2tup: :2tup: The deal is done and the M-50 is now gone. Lynda is holding a paw full of cash and searching for a tour to Ireland.

All we have left are 2 cages and my mountain bike.
