Bike show tickets.

Was bored half to death yesterday so I went for a drive to buy bike show tickets prior to the show next week. Naturally bike dealerships sell tickets so I searched out one that I had never been to before. Got my tickets and noticed a used V-Max outside. If I ever buy a bike just to look at this will be the bike. They have a presence that is so muscular and overwhelming with that V-4 engine just waiting to tear up the streets. The Max has impressed me since it came out in 1985. This one is a 2006 and in almost new condition. 16,000kms(10,000miles) is hardly more than broken in since new. Sure would be nice.

Re: Bike show tickets.

One of the guys that go to our bike night has 2 of them.
He says you have to hold on if you really gas on it.

Those are long range good bikes.

Re: Bike show tickets.

The only negative I've read about long range is a smallish tank. Yamaha even had a European option of OEM bags years ago for the Max. Oddly enough the Max was available in Europe in 1984, a year earlier than N.A.
One of the coffee crowd has a newer Max with some cash sunk into the engine. He says it dynos at 220 HP. Scary power.

Re: Bike show tickets.

Nope. No new bike in the future. I just look a lot and enjoy researching anything that catches my eye.
