Re: harley

Well done man, your satisfaction is the one that is important!
I hope i'll be able to write down a similar fact in a few months! Already checked and took a test drive with kawasaki vn 800 classic, 2005... Mmmm, great power and smooth ride!

Tell us more, what's your sportster like, pics, your feelings of driving it... What happened to your geezer? Already sold?
Take care and don't let xtra ccm drive you, you drive them

Re: harley

Its a poweful son of a bitch. Wow !! I only test drove it then took it home and rode a bit more. Im not insuring or registering it till next riding season cause it needs some work. Like new tires, all fluid needs changing. The owner had the tank re-sealed for me and had the carb cleaned and shit by Harley, so he says. Fires right up. Got Screamin eagles and a nice roar to it, pics coming im very excited !!

Re: harley

Congrats on the purchase! Sounds like a fun bike. September is a great time to get a great price on a bike. Will love to see the pics when you get 'em.

Re: harley

Too bad you can't keep the GZ too, Rookie. I couldn't bear to part with it after getting my VZ800 or my Roadstar. And lately I've been riding the GZ the most. Different moods and a bike for each...except I don't have a sport bike yet...

Re: harley

Look for a good Kawasaki Ninja 250 - I had one and it's a real nice riding, easy to maintain, good quality, nice riding bike.

My first thought too. They are quite popular as an intro to sport bikes without going into big horsepower and expense. Very entertaining on a beer budget. There should be a bunch more on the used market now with the introduction of the new 2013 Ninja 300. Maybe even a discounted new 2011/2012 250 to make way for the new 300.
