Hello
I picked up an '08 GZ three weeks ago from the original owner ...with only 1,600 miles
This is my first street-legal motorcycle, I was looking for something to keep me out of trouble for a 9 mile round trip commute through suburbia, but I am enjoying it more than I planned so it is getting a joyride through a nearby twisty road from time to time too. I have been searching the forums and have found answers to all questions that I have had so far, so thank you all for your help, keep up the good work! :2tup: Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Re: Hello
Welcome Brad. Sounds like your bike is still in the break-in process with such a low mileage. Gotta agree with the twisties comment. The GZ likes them and it does wonders for developing your skills.

Re: Hello
Welcome to the forum from South Carolina. Since you mention this is your first street legal motorcycle might I suggest you take the MSF BRC (Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course) if you haven't already. It's the best investment in your safety you can make. Ride safe.

Re: Hello
Welcome from Florida Brad. Ah, the GZ is a wonderful thing - so much more fun than that thing I ...uh... used to do with my wife  Looks like the bike was well taken care of and never ridden. I just turned 7k on mine this morning. I have a 36 mile commute and can't think of a better way to travel.
Get your classes, wear your gear and ride safe
