hello from Gainesville Florida
Hello From Gainesville FL. my name is Luzbel but they call me Lu. I'm 22 years old,a college student and relatively new to the motorcycle world, most of my driving time I have spent it as a car guy but always wanted a motorcycle.thought I wanted a sport bike but now that I picked up my 2002 gz250i think I'm just going to stick with cruisers. When I become a good rider I might pick up something bigger but for now my gz is awesome. :-) Hope to learn a lot from you more experienced folk and maybe meet some of you on the road.

Nice to see you parked out of the rain. You picked the best of the bunch as a 1st bike. The GZ will serve you well and all it requires is a little TLC now and again.

Welcome to the forum from South Carolina. If you haven't already I'd recommend you take the MSF BRC (Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course). It's the best investment in your safety that you can make. I have to agree the black ones are the fastest. lol Ride safe.

Re: hello from Gainesville Florida
Thank you all for the warm welcome and compliments. I did take the motorcycle safety course as required by Florida law. I do agree it is the best 200 bucks I have spent in a long time. I hope to take the advanced course when I learn on my own for a while.

The Black ones really are the fastest AFTER the purple ones like mine!! Welcome from Fort Walton Beach, Florida. I get a consistant 72 mpg and love the bike. Feel free to ask questions of these guys... amazing what they know

Welcome to the forum from N.Y.C. You should put something under the sidestand so you dont ruin your tiles. My grandmother would flip if she seen that. Lol. Oh, and the red ones are super fast.

Re: hello from Gainesville Florida
Lynda's GZ really liked carpeting under it's tires. A little cadboard under the side stand and all was well.
