Old newbie in Estero, FL

Forgive me for my sins but I have not ridden since 1973. (250 Elsinore) Decided it had been long enough so I'm back!

I bought a laid down, sat in the rain, 2004 GZ last year and rebuilt it. I have been relearning on this while I start to bob my 800 Intruder.

The GZ has handle bars from Flanders. Longer cables from England, wrapped with chrome braiding. Made a front LED light bar and added LED turn signals. I built a new seat with jel insert. Deleted rear seat and foot pegs. Repaired tank, front fender, shortened the rear fender and painted the "tins" chalkboard black. Head light and brake light flashers, FlyScreen. Rubber tank pad.

It has been a fun bike to work on and ride!

I'm retired so I can go riding anytime.

Steve
