Re: Extreme riding
One of the locals here told me a personal story from years ago. Sitting at StarBucks with a coffee and he pointed out a ledge across the highway and way up there to say the least. He was doing a ride on his trials bike along the ledge and his handlebars snapped off. Over the edge and slide almost vertically for about 90 feet till he finally stopped on an outcropping. Many months later he was up and walking again with rebuilt knees and a lot of scar tissue from rock rash to many body parts. Don't remember if he said the bike survived.
