Slipstreamer SS-28 Sport Fairing Windshield
Sorry again for the newbe questions. I would like to know if anyone has the Slipstreamer SS-28 Sport Fairing Windshield and what they think of it. My wife is 5' 4" tall, would this be a good shield for her ?? If not, what would be a good shield, money not a factor in picking the best one. As always, thanks in advance for your help and advise.

Re: Slipstreamer SS-28 Sport Fairing Windshield
I had one I put on my GZ and I really liked it. It takes a few minutes of fiddling with the 4 mounts to get it on right, but 4 mounts is much better than two, more stable, less vibration. With 2 people, it would be much easier to get it on quicker.
The nice thing about it is that it's like a fairing, blocks the wind of your hands to keep them a little warmer, less wind chill, when you ride. It's only 15" tall so she should still be able to see over the top of it, which is better than having to look through the windshield. Go for it. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Lynda had the Spitfire o6 on her GZ. No problems and was the right height to see over. The SS-28 lost by a narrow margin in the selection process.
