Vancouver earthquake

Any of you guys up north in Canada near the quake today? Seems like nobody's immune from Mother Nature's wrath.

The quake was on the West side of Vancouver Island quite deep thankfully. I did feel a little vibration here though. My chair was trying to rock back and forth a wee bit. The shock wave took 3 minutes to get here from the actual time of the quake. Strange sensation for the uninitiated. Been on the coast now for 6 years and it was a 1st for me. The Vancouver region would have felt it a bit more but no serious damage.

Re: Vancouver earthquake

Didn't feel a thing in our neighbourhood. Apparently, the river delta area felt more. It was many kilometers deep and was a side-ways shift so there was no tsunami.
