Front wheel

Hi
I just bought gz125 k2 and have problemwith front wheel. Its a little wobbly so have to exchange it for the new - old one. I've tried motorcycle breakers but they have astronomical prices and everytime I am a little bit late as somebody bought it before me. Its very hard to get one. Just wonder if sombody have tried to fit a wheel form any other bikes? Which would be suitable for gz 125 k2. I believe that in gz250 suzuki used same wheels. I wouldbe greatefull for any help.

Cheers

Re: Front wheel

Seems to me that the 125 and 250 are identical in most way except engine size.

Is it possible to have a shop true the wobble out of the front wheel ? Should be just a matter of an experienced hand with the spoke wrench.

i just got new tires and had them balance and true the wheels. they said that the front one was way off. i could tell because at 60 started to shimie. after they trued the wheels its nice and solid now...i agree with water warrior and take it or them to the bike shop and have them true the wheels. or ride it in and let them do all the work.

safe biking

Re: Front wheel

Thanks for your help guys. I do not think so if wheel balance could help in my case. I've noticed that the rim is slightly incurved.
I have an opportunity to buy a wheel from 2011 model but not sure if the wheels are the same. I mean the hub because size of course hasn't changed. Anybody knows?

cheers

Re: Front wheel

Can you find a British or European parts supplier ? Check with them for part numbers to see if they are the same.

Re: Front wheel

Hi! Couldn't miss another opportunity and bought the wheel without checking (couldn't find a parts number anyway). It fits perfectly.
Thanks for all help.
