New GZ250 Owner!!!
Hi, all....
I am a proud owner of a 2003 GZ250. This is my first bike...I have taken the MSF class and I am ready to ride! I have a lot to learn. The past 5 years I have only been a passenger on my husband's bikes. I have had an interest in learning to ride, but since I am only 4'11", never thought that I would be able to find a bike that I could ride. I finally sat on a Rebel and was so excited that I could almost put my feet flat on the ground. Then I sat on a VStar, I was getting closer to the ground.....but, when I sat on the GZ250, I liked the way it felt, and my husband said that he is going to get the seat altered/lowered as much as can be, but still be a comfortable ride for me. I didn't get an owner's manual with my bike...so I want to thank you for making that available to me. And, my husband thanks you for the service manual. There's alot of great info here and I look forward to learning from you all.....although I do have to say that my husband has been a great teacher! Oh.....one more thing.....in going through the owner's manual, it goes from page 3 to page 6, and then from page 12 to page 16. I just want to make sure that I am not missing any pages that may be important. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Welcome to the Forum! Cool of your husband to get you a Bike. I went ahead and got an Owner's Manual & Suzuki Shop Manual off of E-Bay. I like to hold things & not rely on a Computer to see them. Hope you've been enjoying the lovely Texas weather. :2tup: Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Strelok.....
Yeah, my husband is excited that I'm interested in riding. And, then again, he gets a little nervous when I sit on my bike! Just got the bike on Sunday, waiting to get my seat done and waiting on highway bars to come in. I printed the service and owner's manuals....and yes, the frickin heat is terrible here. Good thing I work in an air conditioned office! |

Re: New GZ250 Owner!!!
First day of summer!!!!!!! this morning it was 44ºc (111ºf) in the shade, on our patio. Never known the heat to start so late in the year. I've got to go out this afternoon to take the rabbits to the vet, for their injections, so luckily I'll have an excuse for going in our air conditioned car.
