Rear turn signals dont flash but fronts do.

My rear turn signals do not flash on left or right. The front signals flash as they are supposed to. The rear turnsignal running lights are on, so i know there is power to the bulbs. Any ideas what could cause this? i have traced the wires from the switch all the way to the lights and have not been able to find a break in the line anywhere. they all worked when i first got the bike. one day i started her up and they didnt work. any advice is appreciated. thanks.

Re: Rear turn signals dont flash but fronts do.

Not sure whats going on,but there is no running lights on the rear, only on the front.Sounds like rear signals are on and not flashing. You didn't put a double contact bulb in the rear signals by mistake did you?

Re: Rear turn signals dont flash but fronts do.

Do you have a test light ??? Cheapest trouble shooting tool you can own.

I'm betting you have a poor ground somewhere in the system and a check of all connectors and sockets will find it. Electricity has a mind of it's own and will always find the path of least resistance. That path could be your rear signals.
