Early morning ride
I just completed my 1 st decent ride this past Saturday at 7:30 am. The time was 4 hrs about 250 km ( 150 mi )round trip. There is a lake north of Toronto that is easily accessible via secondary highways. When you arrive there is a 10 km( 6 mi ) drive along the shore line at an easy pace @ 40 km / hr( 25 mph ). The road winds along the lake edge just steps from the water in places. I discovered 2 parks and a public beach. The water was clean and warm. I refreshed with a splash on my face about 9:00 am. During the ride I drove at 80 - 100 km / hr ( 50 - 60 mph ).
The bike ran smoothly. On most hills I could reach 100-105 km/hr ( 60-65 mph) . I topped out @ 115 km/hr (70 mph )into a strong gusty head wind. When the wind died down avg 90 km/hr( 55 mph) topped 120 km/h(75 mph ). Remembered that passing on-coming trucks will require attention as the shock wave follows several seconds later. So far the bike is doing what I expected. I can keep up with traffic on these highways.

(If you haven't already). It is cheap, quick and the results are impressive.
