Electrical issues?
I found this post: http://www.gz250bike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3989
which sounds similar to a problem I'm having. I have a slightly different one though. About a week ago I jumped on the bike, turned on the ignition and the light and turn signal comes on ok. But when I hit the starter I get one single click and the light goes out immediately. So i turn it off and turn it back on. this time the light doen't come on at all and I don't hear a click. I was able to jiggle the key a few times to get the headlight ot come back on, but every time i tried to start I got just a click. Now I cannot even get the light ot come on. I don't th ink the battery is dead because it was coming on with full brightness, and when I hit the starter, it went out immediately (did not fade). One of the suggestions in the other thread was to use electrical contact cleaner in the starter and the on-off switches. Do I spray them directly on the buttons? Thanks for your assistance. Re: Electrical issues?
Your battery is dead - charge it up and try again.

Re: Electrical issues?
Check your battery connections and ground wire from the battery
