Ok how long have you had it?
Did you just cut the baffle out of the pipe or is it after market? Did you port the carb? I have only had mine 5 days and all I have done is peel the tank sticker off. Your gonna have yours bored, polished, and nitros before I even get the break in done Login or Register to Remove Ads |

I just picked it up on Friday. The muffler has a removable baffle that is just out till my buddy changes the baffles a bit. It's not really any louder than anything i have been around before. And i am still breaking it in but i'm just taking it easy with the exhuast.
I have not done anything to the carb yet but it is running just fine so far, i'll probably just do the needle shim mod for now. At 4200 FASL it's thinner air so it doesnt seem to be running lean at all. NOS? hummm i dont know if the little thing could handle it!

Yeah the dealer had just got in 6 bikes so had choice of color and went for the blue. Then 2 months later when i had the rest of the money to pick it up that was the last one, with my name on it. In the sun it is a vrey shiny metallic blue.

Ok, how about a post on how to remove the baffles? Please? Pretty please? It would be pretty unseemly to just downright beg, but them I'm a pretty unseemly guy. Beg beg.

Well the universal muffler i got had just 3 bolts that held the whole baffel unit in so there was nothing to it. And an update i just put only a cap back on it that has 5 large holes in it and the sound is just right. Not to loud but now it is ok to ride and will not ring your ears.
