Here's proof that there is no such thing.

Let's all be aware and safe!

Consensus is that it's a very clever fake.

But that goes to prove that YOU are ultimately responsible for your own safety. Look around, be aware of what's going on, take nothing for granted. Don't get yourself killed or hurt.

Re: Crashproof motorcycle

I know it's an old thread, but there was something like a crash proof moterbike. Hardly anybody bought it though, and it didn't even make it to the states.

That bike was a hard sell no matter how you looked at it. The first thing would be the price tag. As for being almost crash proof I have to disagree. It might prove to be fairly weather proof for a rider but it is still a bike with it's smaller size and weight compared to a cage. BMW wasn't the first to try that design and there have been others since. None have made a big splash on the market but I'm sure they are collectors items now.

Re: Crashproof motorcycle

In Puerto de la Cruz (a local harbour town) the Policia Local ride them. Strangely enough, they have a seat belt. I'd hate to be wearing that if the bike went down. :??:

I have a feeling they would have a real challenge on a windy day.
