Highway bars for my Vulcan 500

I've been trying to get highway bars for my Vulcan 500 since last Fall. Kawasaki makes a set but they are really small and not very attractive or useful in my opinion. I found these on line in Spain where they actually have a lot of accessories that fit Vulcan 500's unlike here in the states, but the language barrier and some other complications have made this a marathon purchase. Well, they finally came in this week and I got them installed this morning. Washed the bike off this afternoon and snapped a few pics to share.

I've logged a lot of miles on this bike since I bought it last summer. It was brand new 14 months ago, not anymore.

BB, your bike is entirely too clean. But it does look good and is nicely set up for travelling. Also you are well above average for mileage ridden.

Just one slight problem......... the chrome is not first class, so you might like to keep plenty of polish (or something) on them. The problem seems to be confined to the front of the bars, where it gets hit by all the water/road debris. On the upside, the design will really protect the bike/your legs. :2tup:

Well, you did a lot better than I did when I had my LTD. I never managed to find anything other than the factory ones, and they are, as you point out, expensive and virtually useless.
