Does anyone know if the Jafrum SP 2022 STUDS Saddlebags will fit the 2005 Suzuki GZ 250? I'm thinking of ordering them ($69.95 ) unless someone tells me different or knows of better ones. Thanks.

it is SD not SP. These bags will fit. Do keep the receipt in case the quality is not good. The problem with GZ is the right side. Attached is a Saddlebag Fitment chart. It is helpful.


PS: JAFRUM: I bought saddlebags from jafrum. Their service was good but the bags were of poor quality and started falling apart. Now after one year I could not find the receipt and called the customer service. They gave me the previous order no and suggested to send in the pictures of the bags so they could decide if its warranty issue/wear tear/bad usage. They decided that bags are poor quality so they sent me a refund check. So I think that Jafrum is a good company to work with.

Thanks for the reply. That chart is definitely helpful. I will check the measurements one more time just to make sure. I was also looking at Xelement bags.

Unless you have to have the leather look you may want to check out soft bags. There a lots out there that hold there shape and are very functional. Nelson-Rigg and Cortech come to mind.

It said on their website that these particular bags don't require saddlebag supports...is that true? I sure hope so, hate to spend $50 more on them.

I'd be skeptical.
It depends on what size they are and exactly where you mount them.
Sometimes the rear springs serve to keep them away from the tire.

If there is the slightest little chance that they might rub the tire or spokes, I would NOT take the chance.

OK sounds good, I just tracked them on the FedEx site, they are arriving today...that was FAST, I ordered them on Wednesday at 4pm...very impressive!!! and I got FREE shipping cuz I ordered a windshield bag, cargo net and helmet buckle to get over $100 for FREE shipping.

Be careful if they rest on the springs as the up and motion will wear a hole in the bags.Been there,Done that. I ruined one set of bags trying to save money on supports.

I just got them via FedEx, wow that was fast. They look to be good quality. I didn't ride the bike to work today (supposed to rain) so I can't wait to put them on tonight and see how they look...anyone know if the backseat is easy to remove?
