Timing chain tensioner.

I was going through the service manual and have a couple questions concerning the timing chain tensioner.

1. Is it automatic or must it be manually adjusted?

2. If manual, how would the user know if it needed adjustment?

Just curious.

Re: Timing chain tensioner.

All information is at the top of page 3-34 in service manual.

Re: Timing chain tensioner.

Thanks - I misread it the first time; I thought turning the screwdriver ADJUSTED the tension instead of RELESEASING it. That's what got me wondering if the GZ engine was lagging in technology.
