That thing's on English plates, & he's driving on the left, so he must be testing it in England. That means that the dual carriageway that he's riding on has a 70mph limit. Why didn't he do the test on a German autobahn? There's no speed limit on them! Then he could show us what the bike will do.

The video didn't show the bike doing anything any mid size sport bike couldn't do better. Riding position looks dreadful. Just silly, mindless excess as far as I'm concerned. And it's been done before, many times. The Boss Hog, as one example, mounts, IIRC, a Corvette engine transversely in a motorcycle frame, and it's been around for years.

Well, I think it looks pretty badass, heh. Not saying I'd want to ride one, of course! Besides, lots of stuff people make and do involves mindless excess. Cars/SUVs, social experiments, homes, boats, government committees... At least this is cool-looking!
Kind of reminds me of the older-style Honda Valkyries, if the engine was twice as long.

Well .... about 8 or 9 years ago when Boss Hoss was just getting on the scene, I signed up for a test ride in Daytona. At that time, they had a 6 (?) block test course on blocked off city streets. They gave me the chance to test ride both of the demo models they had. The first was a 231 V-6 (3.8 Liter?) with a two speed transmission. This also was at the time that there were not any really wide motorcycle tires, so they all had square edged car tires on them. Needless to say, rounding every turn you went up on the edge, and it banged and bounced down in a rather unnerving fashion. The mass (1200 lbs) of the bike was almost as scary as the acceleration. I couldn't figure out why the hell they even had a second gear. You could easily get to 85 in first so damn fast it would blow the water out of your eyes. After my alloted 15 minutes I returned white knuckled and shaking.
After taking a few minutes to regain my composure, they allowed me to test ride the second bike. A 305 V-8 (5 Liter?) with a single speed trans. HOLY SHIT!! I needed a seatbelt. I cracked the throttle and it damn near slung my fat ass off. I felt like laundry flapping on the line! It would do 0-60 in about half of a heartbeat. It weighed almost 1400 lbs and again had square edged tires. Very unnerving to ride and very tough to manuver. After my second 15 minutes in motorcycle hell, the salesperson asked how I liked having a real motorcycle between my legs. I told him if I were to ever buy one, that the V-6 model would be more than enough. He poked me in the chest with his index finger and replied "I don't think you are a Boss Hoss type of rider, because you don't get it. Having one of these is like having the biggest d**k on the block and letting everyone see it." At that time they were working on a 1100 HP 672 CI supercharged nitrous injected Keith Black Chrysler custom for a rich dude. And some of you guys think owning a puny Harley is over the top. So....you ain't got a hair on your ass if....... :roll:

I think I would rather ride a normal bike than an exercise in excess. One of the riders that shows up here for coffee at Starbucks has a custom $84,000 bar hopper. Anything over 30 minutes riding almost cripples him. Makes no sense to me but it is his money and his choice.
