Mount Baker Washington

Lynda and I rode up to Mt Baker last weekend. Sorry, no pics. The highway from Sumas Wash. is a GZ road. No real fast speed limits, beautiful scenery and a great afternoon on two wheels. The highway is 2 lane, well maintained and well marked. Did run into a short piece of road construction but nothing to sweat about. Making a good road better in my estimation. The ultimate destination was the Mt Baker view point with lots of sharp switch backs and elevation changes with great views along the way. Lots of places to stop and just look at the world. Excellant. Sadly the view point was shrouded in clouds and there was no view even across the parking lot. So Mt Baker is still a mystery to go in search of again.
