Greetings from Bedford, Indiana
Hi all! Amy from Bedford, IN (south of Bloomington, where IU is) here.
The Gz2050 is technically my second bike but the first one just wasn't right for me. I had bought a '82 Kawi KZ750E and never got more than about 2 miles from home because I just didn't feel comfy on it. Too tall (even after cutting down the seat by an inch and recovering it), too high a center of gravity..... So, a friend of mine had a Gz250 that he wanted to trade up, I had the Kz and wanted to trade down - we found common ground and said "trade ya even?" and the deal was struck - thank the powers that be for that one! Of course, right now he has BOTH bikes, just for this week tho while the carbs are being synced on the Kawi. I get the Gz permanently this weekend  Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Welcome Amy. Have a great time on the GZ. I went from a VS1400 intruder to my GZ. Its the wind and the ride that counts. Opa

Let us know how far from home you get with the GZ. (Make sure you are familiar with the positions/functions of the fuel lever before you head out too far. Even the GZ is a b* to push.)

Re: Greetings from Bedford, Indiana
Welcome Amy, this is a great forum for information on the GZ or just riding in general. I put over 10,000 miles on my GZ last year and it did a splendid job, I think you will really enjoy your bike (once you get it back). The GZ handles great has a nice low center of gravity and is easy on the fuel, enjoy riding!
