in need of advice !!!!!!
:??: hello,gang :cool: any-one have an idea re: the removal of rear tailgate lens on my GZ-250 , yr. 2002 ?, mine broke and i'll need to replace it. Any info. would be of a big help to me, thanks, Frank Conti http://www.fconti@peoplepc.com

Pretty sure the screws are on the back side under the fender.

Yep the light is removed by loosening the bolts from the back of the fender. Worked best for me when I had the rear tire off, maybe removing the 2 side nuts that hold the rear "mud flap" and dropping it down will make it easier with the tire in place.

If you go to the Links/Media section at the top of the GZ250Bike.com page, go to the parts manual PDF and then click to page 26. It has a nice diagram of the whole assembly.
