Hey Alan C., where'd you go?

You haven't posted in a while. Hope everything's okay.

Re: Hey Alan C., where'd you go?

I'm still posting regularly, just not so much in the technical forums as promised. I don't know anything about shimming carbs, swapping sprockets or drilling pipes and I don't have any interest in turning my 250 into a 300, 292, 350 or a Chinese ATV.

Also haven't done any notworthy rides of late (I figure BusyWeb is doing enough riding for all of California.) Still take the bike to work and most other places I need to go. Rode the cage a little last week what with the rain, but yesterday I was back on the bike. Going out of town this week (on a plane) so riding will be light. Any trips planned yourself?

My riding was light over the last week as well.

I don't have any rides planned. Then again, Busy doesn't sound like he planned his rides either. :poked: Mostly kidding, Biz. This time you thought ahead and took rain gear at least. Seriously though, after Busy's ride reports I make sure to tell my wife, "One of the guys with a bike like mine rode to Death Valley and back in one day!" or "Remember that guy? This time he rode to San Francisco!" Someday when I DO plan a long ride, I can point to Busy and say, "HE does it!"

Re: Hey Alan C., where'd you go?

If you have local favorite run, let me know and maybe I'll pop over to Stanton. I've been riding the freeways pretty regularly now so it won't necessarily take me all day to get there.

I may one day do some of Busy's epic rides, but I'm not sure I'd do them overnight. My daughter will be going to Cal State U at Monterey Bay next spring - maybe I'll mosey on up there.
