Thank you Alantf. Yes lower windshields. Usually mounted on the forks and stick out to the sides a few inches. They change the air flow to protect the rider from wind, rain and whatever else is in the air. I have zero experience with lowers but many bikes have OEM options that include lowers to match their windshields.

Sorry about that guys! I posted on like 3 forums that night and a few of my keys on my keyboard wehre not working. I do not know why or how it happened but it did make for some very funny replys!! HAHAHA Ya good idea, if I ever get the highway bars I was thinking up fabing up some plastic peaces to fit within the opening, but only if I can angle it to make the bike more streamline. I dont wanna be plowing the wind!

well, spring has finally arrived. windy and cool but rideable. better than last weekend when my wife took her m2 in the snow.

advant, welcome fellow canuck, and ontarioite (?)...where from?...funny you mention the spitfire sheild, have a tinted unit I put on today, then took it off....then put it on......very boring here watching the rain just continue to fall....3 more days until a break in the weather.

i just watched a comedy routine where the guy kept gloating about the socal weather while talking to a friend from up north on the phone.
in the middle of the routine he started shaking (earth tremors) asking his friend if he could call him back. it seemed funny at the time.
