The Ride Bell should be hung as close to the road surface as possible. The Gremlins have less chance of a successful breakdown.

Got that sucker re hung off one of those metal tangs with the holes at the ends under pretty much everything.
It was ringing it's a$$ off while I was goin down the HOV lane on the way to work this morning. |
