Re: I am back!
You have to try on various helmets to find one that fits properly. I have had(still have 2) 3 or 4 HJC helmets that were a decent fit but then I tried on a Shoei Multitech helmet. The Shoei was like a 2nd skin on my head and so comfy I could hardly believe it. HJC is a good helmet but I think the Shoei will be my next replacement. I toss my helmets on their 5th birthday and go for new again. After 5 years a helmet owes me nothing no matter what the cost. Even the Shoei works out to $0.25 a day for ownership.

Re: I am back!
I tried on some helmets at the dealer and purchased a white Cyber model U-378 3/4 helmet. The retractable sun visor fits over my glasses, but there is a lot of wind noise so I will be getting a bag of foam earplugs. I have used foam earplugs around jets and when shooting so I know they are effective.
I also tried on some nice mesh jackets but haven't made up my mind yet. It is so much better to actually see and try on the gear that I will probably just pay the higher prices at the dealer than save a few dollars online and gamble that it fits.
