yeah, i can see that. when a guy can put a pickup with 38s on craigslist and call it a monster truck, people can think a geezer is a harley. first day i rode mine to work, one lady asked if it was a 1000.

Thanks for all the input folks. Oh, and I have had people mistake my GZ for a Harley. I actually thought it was kinda' cool, considering I only paid a grand for it, and they think it looks like a bike that costs ten times that much! Lol.

As far as bikes looking like other bikes, I agree to some extent. But, like the old adage says : imitation is the highest form of flattery.

If I buy a watch for $20, and someone thinks it's a Rolex, am I disappointed, thinking "this is so un-original - now I don't want it"? Hell no! I think, "sweet!" But that's just me.

people that don't know motorcycles seem to think the geezer is a pretty neat bike. many people that do know bikes look down on the poor little guy, but that's why we have this forum. a guy i work with has an 08 ultra classic, and gets as much ribbing from coworkers as i do for my geezer.

I've had guys at work try and give it to me a little and they all have really nice bikes when they do I just laugh it off. The GZ is a really nice bike, yesterday a guy commented about how much gas keeps fluctuating then it was my turn to laugh, I just said I didn't noticed because I hadn't been in 3 weeks . (I only live about 5 miles from work)
