Re: Greetings and Hallucinations!

Thanks for the welcomes everyone!

Alan - Good to know that it is something with the bike and not me. Did frighten me a bit, but I have noticed, even after only a few days, that I am not so scared of it anymore. I have proficient motorcycling on order from Amazon, should be here shortly. Both me and my wife just got in to riding, although she is in to scooters. She has a 125 Genuine Buddy.

This time of year is glorious. Nothing like a brisk ride to work to get you moving in the morning. Even better then coffee.

Re: Greetings and Hallucinations!

I rode a Peugeot and an American (POS) moped for a time in the late 70's but it had a top speed of about 40 (45 downhill.) Even though the GZ only goes about 20 mph faster, makes a big difference in the trouble you can get into. Plus there is the shifting and all...

Check your tire pressures, especially the front if the bike seems wiggly.

Re: Greetings and Hallucinations!

Welcome aboard, sounds like your already having plenty of fun on the bike. Personally I found ditching the high-vis vest and wearing a denim vest with a bunch of band patches on it sorted out most of the cage beasts, and lets face it, if your gonna be a biker, may as well look the part. In regards to the whole 50mph thing, give it a little time brother, cause if its brand spankin new its really still learning to be a bike.

That's a very astute statement.

Then again, you could get one of these and completely freak out the kids in the minivan in front of you.
