I bought a couple of these last week, got both the left and right side for cosmetic reasons. The wide sheath rubber band under the velco strap should hold them in place, but if it doesnt, I will take VET WRAP, and using a Y wrap, wrap it around the throttle rocker to help stabilize it.
For those not familiar with VET wrap, it is an elastic bandage type material which vetenarians use on large animals. It stretches, tapes to itself (without glue) and stays in place when wrapped. Also if it gets wet, it doesnt lose its grip. Only draw back, after a couple of days, it has to be cut off to be removed, since the ends melds into itself. Vet wrap can be found at any livestock, tractor supply store. Or buy it from your vet. I use it to stabilize saddlebags on saddles. |
