Ignition problem

Changed my ignition today and the black and white wire burned up. Dont know what to do now

Is this an OEM replacement or one of the Chinese knock-offs that you replaced it with? My guess is you wired it where it went direct to ground overloading the system. I am surprised a fuse didn't blow to protect the system. Check your wire diagram to make sure you hooked it up right. If that checks out, you may have a bad ignition module or the color codes are different from an OEM unit.

You will need to replace the fried wires, of course, and start over. Sorry you are having such a hassle.

Curious as to what you found out regarding your ignition system problem. Make any progress?
