Still no Love

Per Water Warrior 2, I primed and tried the start, and no real indication that I'm getting any kind of ignition. I checked and have spark. Two more things to check are changing the gas to new (its been sitting awhile) and getting a new spark plug. Worse case, how do I check to see if I put the cam in 180% off? As stated earlier, the cam marks are in the right orientation at TDC, but they look that way on intake too. There is a white mark and it is facing the intake side. Is that where it is supposed to be?

I have no more ideas. Some one with more experience will be along shortly. I can honestly say we never had an issue with Lynda's GZ in 3 years which leaves me with no actual hands on experience. I suppose that is a good thing.

Did you loosen the cam chain tensioner when you set the cam and chain? If you don't it will throw it off. If it gets spark you can get a rough guess by pulling the carb and shooting starter fluid straight in the hole.

If it's off by less than thirty degrees than it should atleast spit sputter or backfire.
