Well the power went out early yesterday afternoon. Finally got power back today around 6pm. It was no major problem, we had plenty of supplies to last a week. stayed warm with plenty of comforters. we mainly had a build up of ice in my area knocking down trees and power lines . All is good now, ice is about melted away.

Windchill makes a huge difference. Yesterday morning it was 32 degrees, but the "feels like" was 23. I wore two layers of pants, a warm coat, and shoes. This morning it was 34, feels like 34. I wore a long sleeved shirt, one layer of pants and flip flops. 'course it got up to 60-something today which felt damn warm.

Glad you got your power back and are de-icing, Grasshopper.

After watching the world news and disasters I am starting to think somebody has figured out how to control the weather to detriment of mankind.

Just pray the snow doesn't melt too fast and cause flooding.
