Pulling an Engine?

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for information on pulling an engine. I tried a search. I saw several mentions of pulling an engine, but I didn't see a How-To or anything like that. Does something like that exist?

Thanks,

I have not seen any videos on pulling the engine for the gz250 either. I used to have a gs500 and I pulled the motor out of two of them no problem.biggest thing is review your service manual before you get started and have all the tools and jacks your gonna need to take it out.

The service manual located on this site should give you a step by step on pulling and disassembling the engine. That's what I used when I did mine.

Takes lots of pics as you go. You will have a real record of the bike during the removal part. Cans for nuts and bolts with labels too.
Use zip ties to hold some small things out of the way to help clear a path for major parts.
