Reality TV

A major cable tv channel has plans to make a pilot show about sport bike riders in my town.
A producer was in town this past Saturday conducting invitation only interviews.
There were only about 20 people that were invited.

If this show gets off the ground or not, I don't know.

Having said all of that, here I am at the big round table where the interviews are taking place.
Riding and being friends with the camera man may have something to do with me being there.

This is the place we have our weekly bike nite.

Will do WW. As you know this is the reason for this type of show.

Me and the WB. Only two bikes out this day.

Was there in 2007. Not bad for an old guy from B.C. 4th of July weekend had a lot of traffic to say the least. Drove the cage there and rented a KLR for the weekend.
It was the 1st annual get together for Stromtroopers and I met a lot of fantastic folks from all walks of life. Many good memories. And lots of T-shirts to prove I was there........and there..........and there........... and there. LOL.

This is a world wide destination ride for many motorcycle and car enthusiast.

New automobile test mules and some very exotic cars come thru all of the time.

As you can see, us locals take advantage of the 5 months that we have it to ourselves.

Good interview. My opinion is throw in a few more short clips of riders on the dragon( not just wrecks ) between every other person's comments of their experience. I like how they share each others experiences. They make it sound kind of scary but thrilling at the same time. Maybe show a short clip of the Hater's Bench and showing the mishaps there. All in all I like it.

The network is very familiar with the Dragon, this was just a cast audition.
That was 22 minutes of almost 3 hours of people telling their stories.
Thanks for watching and your comments.

Discovery did a piece called "Hells Roads- Tail of the Dragon" in 2012.

Hate to sound like an old fart, but it seems like they're putting other road users lives at risk. If it was just their own lives, that's fine, it's up to them, but I'd hate to be cruising at a leisurely pace and end up with a 70 MPH bike slamming into me, because someone had misjudged a bend.
