adjustable reach clutch lever?

hi all,
my GF has a newer gz250. unclear on the year right now but it is withOUT the adjustable brake lever.

she has very short fingers and wants levers with less reach. i've seen the adjustable brake lever on the older (99-00?) gz.
is there something similar for the clutch?
can i just adjust it and put a wedge of some sort between the lever and perch?
if not, i guess i'll look into aftermarket (so they match) levers. any comparable bikes that use the same levers that is more popular and easy to search on?

thanks!

The GZ never came with an adjustable lever as far I remember. What you must have seen is a custom level that someone else had attached. I'll have to browse through some of the older threads because I don't remember off the top of my head what is interchangeable.

That being said, most of the Suzuki cruiser line use cross-over parts. All of the blinkers and stuff were the same, for example. Most of the tail lights were the same. I wouldn't be surprised if all of the bikes 7/8" bars used the same levers.

To check, head over to www.ronayers.com and cross-reference part #s on the microfiche. That'll give you an answer quickly.

Yep 99 to 02 had the adjustable brake lever. Changed to non-adjustable in 03,but they are interchangeable.
