Bolt & nut maintenance
I went through my GZ this morning tightening the bolts/nuts as recommended in the manual. Bile has 2300 miles currently. Found two bolts loose & two missing. The teo that were missing were on the front fender on the brake side.
Well worth going through and doing some mainatenece like that. Proof in the pudding. Ron Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Re: Bolt & nut maintenance
Two bolts you may miss are the ones holding the seat lock to the side panel. Remove the side panel and check the bolts. Mine vibrated out, and it was a hell of a job to get to the lock, which was dangling on its cable, inside the side panel.

Re: Bolt & nut maintenance
Excellent tip Alantf. Maybe a dab of Loktite while your at it. One of the most common things to get loose is the license plate. Lock washers are a must.
