Hello! I am fairly new GZ250 rider
My bike sometimes will not start again after I've ridden it. Seems to need a few minutes of rest. Flooding doesn't seem to be the problem. Any ideas what I may be doing wrong? Also, is it normal for this bike to hum or buzz at around 55 MPH?

Hi there,
When you start a warm engine, you should not twist the throttle until it's running. Dunno if you're doing that, but it's just a thought.

The other question, yes, it is normal that it has a buzz that goes up and down in volume at constant speed around 55. Something with the chain, gears, resonance.

Do you have any problems starting when it's cold?
How many miles are on the bike and do you have a service history? It may be time for a valve adjustment. |
